I'm not a die-hard fan but I'm glad they've decided to go that way, DG have always been 100% for the music and I'm pretty sure whoever picks up the sticks, him or anybody else, it's gonna be an event.

I’m not into the Foos music but respect DG for what he has done. I could see Josh Freese taking over the drumming duties, he seems to be able to handle just about anything that people throw at him.

Agree that Josh would be the logical choice in the "name drummer" category, but maybe they'll find an up and coming kid with enough energy to drive that band.

Love Taylor, but Foo's were a band before he joined and it doesn't surprise me they're continuing on after his passing. Plus, they're a big business with a lot of peoples lives on the payroll. Gotta keep the machine going.

I‘m glad they continue as a band! Josh Freese is amazing and sounds like a logical fit and Jon Theodore is a personal favorite.

Maybe they go the 8g band route and have varying drummers.

My vote is for Rufus Taylor. Let’s not forget other bands who lost a long- term member and were back playing gigs in short order — like The Rolling Stones (less than a month) and ZZ Top ( just days).
