I think this was pro bono from Keef. Didn't cost Jack or Adolph anything.

Caduceus Cellars is a small production family owned and operated winery. As enticing as it may be, our current limited production doesn’t allow us to entertain International Distribution. And only a handful of our blends are available for National distribution in select territories.caduceus.org
That’s a fairly insensitive and self-centered view. You’re lying if you tell me that you and none of your family or friends have ever been effected by alcohol addiction, domestic violence, or car crashes involving alcohol.Just because you can’t handle your sh*t doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t.
I mean...truth be told, Rage Against The Machine was sick and Foo fighters were never going to be as cool. Nor Tool or Nirvana.
I don’t have to tell you anything random internet guy. That’s a fairly insensitive and self-centered view. You’re lying if you tell me that you and none of your family or friends have ever been effected by alcohol addiction, domestic violence, or car crashes involving alcohol.
Yawn.
I don’t have to tell you anything random internet guy.
Listen man. If you’re trying to compensate for some real world deficiencies in your life I don’t think joining a drum forum and being a total d*ck is going to solve your problems. But if you’re just trying to get your post count up so you can place an ad in the For Sale section I’m all for it.Dang. Got me. If you put a cowboy hat on that Ben Stiller, it’s your icon picture.
you kind of missed the nuanced conversation and my point...which was that selling ALCOHOL as a shill for a company was lame. And that doing so is not required to be successful, financially or otherwise. RHCP hasn’t done it, nor have RATM, or others. What, some rock bands push merch?!?!?!

But please feel free to post pictures of other musicians being a shill for alcohol companies.
Or post pictures of bands selling their band stuff.
Don’t feed the troll.I fail to see what’s wrong with alcohol ads with 21 and over adults ??
There's no way they considered him. He's too young and too green. Playing one song at full blast at the tribute concert is one thing, keeping that up for a 3 hour set is quite another. All this speculation is hysterical.
Maybe they did ask Hawkins' kid, and he couldn't or wouldn't. We'll never know.
Oh - that’s fine. I honestly didn’t know that they owned those or make that connection, and why would anyone... at first glance most would think they are shilling it bc they are artists first and then branch out to that. Genuinely have no problem if they are selling whatever junk stuff they want and invest there energy elsewhere if they own the product. Agreed, subtle and important difference. Those individuals in the pictures I posted … and there were a lot of them … are not shilling ads.
They OWN the breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
They pay other shills to push their products.
Subtle difference … but one to take notice of.
