This guy is the best stave builder l've seen online. Amazing attention to details and supreme woodworking. Plus original concepts no one else does. Plus unbelievable paint and lacquer

It's genuinely impeccable craftsmanship. I've had other stave snares in the past but Craig has really set himself apart with his finishing and overall attention to detail.

Here's one of my Brady blocks. A Zambesi Redwood block 13x6". I got this from a forum member and it sounds amazing!

I just HAVE to share this one. I'm not a big fan of staves because I don't generally like the disparaged look of the pieces. But check this out - I saw it and HAD to have it - Seven Six Bocote with arranged figuring. Wow! I put together a cheap photoshop to show more of the surface area, it aaaalmost creates a whole perfect circle but there's a change between the first and last pieces (the transition faces the player). Still, a beautiful job here. Oh, and it sounds GREAT!

Well, Scooter was nice enough to sell it to me so, I should have it next week? I will post pictures of it in real, these are the website pictures form AVA...But they are awesome though!
By the way, why the Brady are so expensive? because they are not produced anymore?

They were always quite pricey and now they aren't being made anymore the prices of used drums have gone through the roof which is annoying.

You can still find them for a good price sometimes but it's difficult.

Only the people reading this would care to see... so here's a pic of all my staves together. If the last two seem rather set apart, it's because they are not staves but - true solids!

Expanded the cheap photoshop to cover the whole circumference. Pic borders are at the transition line.
