I picked this up a few weeks ago with a pile of 20’s Leedy drums. It’s a 8x20” that appears to have been modified years ago. Lots of Ludwig hardware added. It even has hand made wooden gaskets.

It originally had broken calf heads on it, but I threw on modern heads and it sounds awesome.

Looks like it's microkit time! It's a neat touch that this "re-builder" made all of those sturdy gaskets.

What are the lighter wood pieces in pic #3?
Does it other extra holes? Was it a marching drum? Did it originally have lugs?

Those are braces for eye bolts. I bought the drum already altered, but I’m assuming it originally didn’t have lugs.
