Okay guys I have a project on my hands that I just don't have time for. It's a Stencil kit that needs work. Apollo is the brand. It needs a deep cleaning / rust removal/ two reso hoops for sure. Sizes are 20/13/16/14 snare in orange sparkle. It even has all the original stands and some cymbals - none are brand name. Anyhow, my plan was to fix it up over time and then sell super cheap OR give away to a student in financial need. But I've come to the realization that I just don't have the time with work schedule etc to take this on. I'm in NJ and would drive a reasonable distance to deliver if anyone has the time/ inclination to take this on. Contact me through PM here on DFO for pictures more details I interested. Disclaimer if you're going to flip this kit or you're a collector of MIJ kits that okay with me too. I'm not stuck on the " must give away to student in need " idea. I just need the space back . Thanks guys.

Sounds worthy. Apollo kits are often quite decent. And orange sparkle is not one of your everyday colors. Someone in NJ will be happy.

Just posted a public thank you! You bet. It’ll take some time but I’ll be sure to track the progress. Thank you kindly once again Mike!

Ok here’s the start, the snare. So far taken all apart and parts went in Ultrasonic Cleaner. Rims had some rust so some of the chrome peeled off. A few of the t-nuts will probably be replaced as they were jammed in crooked and wrecked the shape of the nut. New heads and snare wire will be gotten. Next step possibly Vibratory Polisher followed by wax, or just wax. The lugs have lot’s of surface ‘pits’ so probably will do a test run w/one lug in Vibratory Polisher to see if they open or not.

keep up up to date on the progress! My first drum was an orange sparkle Kent snare drum. I still have a fondness for orange sparkle.
