Got the ride last night, and thought I should share some photos and video of it:

Here is a quick vid of it in action:

I used an MJC2 stick. It’s in the left position. The other cymbals are Agops, Mel Lewis 20” and a 22” 30th.

I only got to play it for a short period, so I don’t feel that I can fully review it at this time, but I can say that I did like it’s sound and feel.

Sounds really nice! Clear stick and saturated but not to long crash with good amount of "dragon breath".
What's the model? Bill Stewart Tribute?

Wow, that's a nice ride! Sounds excellent. Glad you got it and got past the issue that you had to go through. Definitely looks like it was worth it. Enjoy it!

I'm glad it turned out OK.

Still, it's always weird to me when people (not you OP!) become hyper-reactive from personally identifying with something they've purchased to help them make music.

I bet he sees this excellent playing on his cymbal and reach out to you again to smooth things over. Obviously you are not lazy, but busy practicing and playing.
And the video also shows how he probably could just leave the shipping biz out and do just fine, what a great cymbal.

Thanks for sharing! the demo, and the backstory
p.s. Great nickname LMFLSR
