Hi folks, I've decided to sell the last pair of mics from my recording days. I was keeping them around due to how rare they are and the fact that they are amazing for drums, but I'm coming to terms with the fact that my life/career has gone with a different direction.
If you're looking for mojo, warmth, and rich details for your drum overheads, these are the ticket.
You get:
- Stereo pair of RFT tube microphone bodies
- Gefell MK 201 nickel omnidirectional capsules and adapter to use on the bodies
- RFT large-diaphragm cardioid capsule (modelled after the DPA 4041)
- Power supplies (with standard XLR connectors)
- All cables
Switching the caps gives you two different flavors - the RFT caps are upfront and aggressive, while the Gefells are rounded and very musical. There are also many other Gefell and RFT caps you can get to expand your arsenal (for example, the famous M71).
Asking $1,900 and open to offers and possibly snare/cymbal trades. Also looking for a Nord 3P if anyone has one.
