My downsizing continues. Beautiful George Way Copper snare for sale. Bought a few years ago from a forum member, this has only been played in my house. Excellent condition. Nice, heavy copper shell beer tap throw. Great sounding snare. Date stamp looks like June 14, 2013?

$385 shipped.

Tempting...

Is that a seamless shell? How thick is it?

Hi K.O.

Not a seamless shell but not sure of the thickness. Pretty heavy shell though.

So nice. Nicely priced too.
Great price. I also have one for sale, but at a higher price based on shipping costs. Still, I am having second thoughts about selling mine since I own two Yamaha kits in natural finish that the drum matches very well. I also like the sound of copper, which has a hybrid sound that reminds me of wood and aluminum. Hmmm ... I am talking myself into pulling mine off the market, but I am pretty much guarantee that whoever buys this one will be very pleased.

At this price, how is this drum still available? These drums are incredibly hard to to come by these days. I am not even sure if they are still making a bonafide copper snare like this one anymore? At any rate, the minute this sells, someone will post that they are desperately trying to find a George Way Copper 6.5x14 snare drum... It never fails!
Please, someone jump on this one before I have to buy it.
