This is from the jazz days, 1958. Bobby Timmons, Jymie Merritt, Lee Morgan, and Benny Golson. Imagine you were there, seeing these jazz masters. It was a concert in Belgium. Lee Morgan is absolutely killing.

Art is awesome. At the end of the finale, he's smashing the cymbals so hard, the old Gretsch cymbal stand collapses. You can learn lot from watching Art.

So good!!!! I don’t know if I love this stuff so much because I’ve heard each of these performers so often that it’s a comfort thing, or if they’re just perfectly capturing the vibe I dig most, but either way, you just don’t hear stuff like this anymore.

The debt I owe to these gentlemen is immense! Did as much as anyone to shape my musical approach. Thank you!

Sound quality and mix really good too!! So soulful and elegant.
The Europeans always had top quality video and sound for concerts like this. They treated American jazz musicians like royalty. It's the reason so many American jazz players expatriated to Europe. It's damn sad when you think about it. Jazz was invented in America.
