I learned about Groovescribe from this Forum, and it's really kick-butt! I love its ease of use for people like me who've gotten rusty at writing musical notation. I can write and share rhythms with amazing speed.

I was wondering if anyone has run across similar notation software for other instruments. It would be great to work out a bass guitar line in a similar fashion, then print it or save it as an mp3 file like I do with Groovescribe.

I already have Finale and find it a LOT harder to edit quickly - - unlike Groovescribe, which is intuitive and very fast. When I want to create, I don't want to be bogged down with technicalities. ("Man, don't you know that should be a quarter-rest?")

Any help would be greatly appreciated. ("Free" would be a bonus, as well...)
