I'm gonna let you know it was a hassle to find short scale flat-wounds. I normally play an Ibanez GSR200SM that you cant see. If ever get better at playing one, I might plunk down for a G&L or a Fender. You can see my G&L ASAT Bluesboy way in the back.I have that bass in my queue!!!
He might be thinking of seeing a lap steel being played like a pedal steel. The place I bought my Dickerson had a Robert Randolph signature LS for sale too and it had the legs with it so you could sit at it like a pedal steel.
