Has anyone ever used two single tom arms on the same cymbal stand?

I'm wondering if this would work? One would be higher than the other (touching each other) on the same stand so would it be possible to adjust both toms correctly?
If it doesn't work, I'll just have to buy a double tom which I will probably end up doing anyways but I need to make do with what I have right now.
This is what I have, 2 of these (Ludwig PM004)

This is what I would buy if it doesn't work (Ludwig LAP256STH):

I would work. One drum would just be lower or higher on the post to even them out.

Ok let's figure this out.

Reread what I wrote: Two single tom arms on the same stand! The picture shows two on different stands.
And that's not my kit on top, remember they sent me a different one, LOL!

Are you able to do what that Green set looks like? I think you have those parts right?
And you got an 8" and a 13" on the way (and another floor)

Looks like you can double on each cymbal stand- double the mount(s)-- Kinda balance the cymbal stand 0ut. 8,10,12,13 on two cymbal stands. w/ 4 of those (green picture) brackets

As Long as you got Heavy Cymbal stands

Yes sir, I will be doing exactly what you see on the green set. But I need to add the 8" tom to the same stand that's holding the 10" tom. So I don't know if it will work by stacking the two arms on the same stand or maybe just buy the double one.

Hey. I'm not the one asking directions.. LOL so don't give me any.
Yes two single tom clamps per cymbal stand
LOL
Sorry, I didn't give you time to write the post that you followed with. I thought you were indicating that I was just after what's shown on the green set. My bad!

I only ordered the floor tom and the 8. I'm still contemplating the 13. But for now it would be 3 up. I figure the 8 & 10 together is fine since they are the lightest anyways. And yes Heavy stands. They would be on Gibraltar 9000 series which are crazy heavy.

hooly sheet
well, glad that's gone right?
Yep! The drum room was starting to get a little cramped with both, LOL! But that's exactly what I'm replacing with the new kit minus the 13" tom (for now!)
