Has anyone ever used two single tom arms on the same cymbal stand?

Just tried it out with the 10 & 12. Works great even though I figure that using the single 2 tom holder would be more balanced since it's just centered on one piece. For now though, this will do the trick!

I previously owned a Ludwig Epic kit where I had 8,10,12 as my rack toms and mounted the 8 and 10 on a double tom mount connected to a snare stand. Not issues at all. The 12 was then clamped with a single clamp on another cymbal stand.

That's what I was planning but I've got 3 single tom holders and they seem to work so that's what I'll use for now.

It's the picture! Their was about 2 inches in between. And that was only a 1 minute test to try out the tom arms, LOL! Those won't even be in those positions when I set everything up. I mounted, took the picture and unmounted them.

If it's a bitishaky, I would try to turn the clamps back (away from the toms) as far as the l-rod/ball part permits, so the toms are closer to the vertical post.

I'll try that. Thanks
