Has anyone seen this badge before?

Apologies for the poor photo, but it's a screen grab from a video by Jeff Buckley. I'm not sure what snare his drummer is playing, but, this was shot in the early 90s. The snare looks to be 8x14 or so. Does anyone recognize this badge?

Ah! Mystique Drums.
They were out of Ohio back in the 70s.
Only around for a few years.
And yes, that was one of the selling points - vanishing badges.
Never caught on, though.

Ah! Mystique Drums.
They were out of Ohio back in the 70s.
Only around for a few years.
And yes, that was one of the selling points - vanishing badges.
Never caught on, though.

I remember those! They created an update on the old Slingerland cloud badge that would eventually dissipate into vapor.

Great idea that the buying public just couldn't wrap their fingers around.
