Just dreaming and scheming here but the potential exists that over the next year I will down size my " collection" and purchase add on drums for an RC kit that I own and purchase one new kit. Those two and two smaller sizes 3 pc sets will cover every single need. I'm 99% sure the new kit will be Ludwig CM In green sparkle tite- wrap. 14x24 inch kick 13/16 inch toms. Question is add on a 10" Tom and a 15 or 18 floor Tom. Thoughts on these sizes and differing opinions welcome. The RC kit is currently 8/10/12/14/20 add ons would be a new birch snare and a 16 floor tom. I also own an 18/12/14 set up and an inde 20/12/15 hence leaning towards larger sizes and NOT another set up w a 14" floor tom. Thanks

the Ludwig states
Seems like the 15 would be too close to your 16 if you're thinking of using them together. I have a green sparkle CM kit with 10/13/16/18/22. It's the perfect spread for me, playing rock. Love the 18 floor tom. My 10 rarely gets used, though.

I agree with the 12/15/18 set up. 15/16 is to close in size that you are almost getting the same drum. Also, since you already own an INDe kit why not go with an INDe with RESOArmor instead of Ludwig? Far superior drums and covering.

While the superior part is up for debate, the resale value certainly is not. Ludwigs absolutely hold their value better than INDe. Perhaps that will change in the future, but right now, people who are selling used INDes seem to be losing their shirt.
