Amy Hall contacted me with the news today. I’m shocked and deeply saddened by Mikes death. Myself, Mike and Robb Horn brought this place to life. His enthusiasm for drumming, his good nature and his commitment to DFO was amazing. Carry on my friend, see you on the other side.

Such sad news!

Mike was a vibrant and active member of the DFO community who was respected and well liked.
Mike’s many contributions here helped make DFO such a cool hang and resource. Mike was always happy to share his considerable drum and cymbal knowledge with anyone that asked.

Oh my God, what shocking news. Mike and I go back years although it was primarily a virtual friendship taking place here. We did meet up a few times in the real world though. What a great guy and such an asset to this place and the drum world in general.
