I looked at the luddy catalogues from the 1970-1972 period. The super classic snare had the throw but it did not have the adjustable wires...also, the SC snare had reinforcing rings and this drum does not.
I cannot figure it out

This would be I'd guess from around 76 or so, can't remember when they went to the thick shell without re-rings, maybe later 77 or 78, I think I've read that the rounded corners on the B&O badge started in 79 but then again they would of used up all the pointy corner badges until they were gone so there's that. I'd say factory as there's no extra holes and that strainer and butt have a different pattern than the P-85/32. Then again you could take a 14" power concert tom and cut it down to 6.5 and have a bare shell to start with but my guess is still factory.

The Classic throw was available at least into the early 1980s. This appears to be a 70s snare.

Found it in the 1980 catalogue... it's a rock/concert snare drum.
It didn't mention that kind of veneers... I assume it is maple

The interior of the grommet looks banged up. Might be a generic shell with Ludwig parts added. Starting bid of $195 is high.

Throw and butt were still listed in the '84 catalog although this drum should be from roughly 1977-1979 if 6 ply with a pointy cornered badge. Maple/poplar mix shell.

That drum is original and correct. The grommet is fine on the interior. Check the pic.
