I hate touching cymbals with my bare hands

Easiest way I hve found to clean my cymbals is to use Pearl's drum polish:

Ive used this stuff for a few years now. Cleans off finger prints and stick marks and leaves the cymbal protected from oxidation over the long term.

Much easier than cleaning a cymbal with some harsher chemical, then washing it with soap to remove left over chemicals, then waxing it for protection.

I just ordered some!!

It works great on shells and hardware. Doesn't matter if it is gloss lacquer, matte, oil rubbed or a wrap finish.

I try not to touch them. I have 2 or 3 soft cloths around the kit and wipe the prints off as I notice them. OCD is time consuming.

Thanks for the advice, the Pearl cleaner/coating works great!!
I cleaned before applying the coating to 4 cym's last night, I'll check them when I get home, but they look good so far (cymbals have not oxidized and changed color very much), the cleaner/coating gives then a real nice shine, better than lemon pledge or carnauba wax!
