A 16" snare drum... I love this thing, especially on the mid tuning.

16x12, silver sparkle, all factory. 16x6, gold sparkle, cut down tenor tom.

i would slap my mother in broad daylight for a 16x12 red sparkle. can anybody help?

Surprisingly it has a very throaty sound, esp with the higher tuning.
IMO, it sounds good because of the shallow depth. Im not sure it would work as well on anything much deeper

Also the comfort factor is a nay nay, however its great that you tried this. Im impressed for sure.

It's not mine. But I'm thinking about it. I do play a 6.5 x 15". And no - it wasn't a spoof, but it was certainly referencing Sir Mixalot. It is a snare drum after all. Put a P-87/P34 on it and it will have a big butt.
