I can't stand:
- Demonstrating a crash while simultaneously hitting the bass drum LOUD! Completely discolors the cymbal's unique crash characteristics.
- Demonstrating a crash by building up a "crash swell" which allows any man hole weight cymbal to sound like it could somehow crash when you need to do it most with a single stroke and were hoping to hear that 1 crash only.
- Immediately starting to wail away on the bell, as if 99% of music demands an obnoxiously loud bell groove as it's primary component.
