the early 70s PAiste he showed...do you think its a GB or 2002? Its form the MAde in Japan period so that 1972...right on the cusp just after the 2002 line started.
He always used Paiste B8 alloy, but I think he was mostly GB on In Rock and Fireball albums.

2002. He was in a magazine in the 80's and said he used 19" mediums , 22" ride , 15" heavy hihats , not sound edge.

I like that maple Pearl kit. It would have been cool if he had some older Ludwigs and more cymbals to discuss.
