ID this 12 inch splash?

Not much to go on. The seller from whom I just purchased this said there were no markings or stamps that were visible. It weighs in at 425 grams. The profile and the machining around the mounting holes are the only clues other than the seller said that it came with an old Premier kit years ago. I plan to pair it with a circa 1920s 12" cymbal for hi-hats. That cymbal is a story in itself. Here are the photos:

Looks maybe Japanese brass...but the cool ones...60s
'Japan' at the top edge -or- under near the stem hole- or I dunno

Thanks. I'll check it out when it arrives. The patina looked more like bronze than brass. Brass turns green. But anything is possible.

Brass can turn Red.. It resembles- that lathe chatter- the 5 or 6 Japanese cymbals I own. ( 2-20s, 18, 16 and 2-12s)

I'm going with Japanese brass, also. The color, the chatter, etc. all resemble some of the old J's I have.
