I would use my Stone Custom set because I love the sound of them. Also Charlie had a Gretsch set in this finish many years ago. Heck, I even use a DW snare with them too! (I wonder why the Stones didn't contact me?)

Plus I would need to refresh my memory on tying a tie, I haven't had to wear a tie to work in years! B)

Using stuff I already have:

-Gretsch USAC Black Nitron 20/12/14
-Ludwig 402
-Zildjian 20" K Crash/Ride, 18" KCD crash, 19" KCD china, 14" '50s A hats

No big surprises, obviously, but that's because I would definitely shoot for evoking Charlie's sounds and approach. It's integral.

Craviotto 12, 13 toms, 14, 16 floor toms & a 22" bass drum. A 5.5x14" PR Birdseye & a 4x14" NOB AK/Craviotto. Various cymbals & dw 6000 series hardware, & my favorite Vic Firth sticks!

I'd call Ludwig first thing and tell them who I was playing with and then see if they could find me a black beauty shell that could be engraved :)
I'd take my blue shadows 8x12, 16x16 and 14x22 with my Texas CW logo and tell them I'm the "other CW" I'd have to find a 17" IAK china, but I suppose that would be doable. 20" K crash ride that bongo congo gave me because I think he'd look down and smile about it and a crash over the right.

Great taste. Perhaps a 5.5 x 14 NOB as they did not make 4 x 14 AK/Crav NOB.
