I would use my Stone Custom set because I love the sound of them. Also Charlie had a Gretsch set in this finish many years ago. Heck, I even use a DW snare with them too! (I wonder why the Stones didn't contact me?)

Plus I would need to refresh my memory on tying a tie, I haven't had to wear a tie to work in years!

No big surprises, obviously, but that's because I would definitely shoot for evoking Charlie's sounds and approach. It's integral.

I'd call Ludwig first thing and tell them who I was playing with and then see if they could find me a black beauty shell that could be engraved
I'd take my blue shadows 8x12, 16x16 and 14x22 with my Texas CW logo and tell them I'm the "other CW" I'd have to find a 17" IAK china, but I suppose that would be doable. 20" K crash ride that bongo congo gave me because I think he'd look down and smile about it and a crash over the right.
