I have. I believe they are 14" high hats. Both are Ziljian but the paint is worn off. Is there anywhere I can look up the numbers and see what I have. They belonged to my late brother. Thanks

This is a pair of Mastersound Hi Hats (the wavy cymbal is the bottom).
Doesn´t look like A Custom or K to me so I´d guess plain Zildjian A. And yes, made in 2003.

I'd say those are A Mastersounds.
Nice research work, jOe. -b
Never seen that list before.

So are these good hi hats? I just found them. My others are A rock 14 inch. Any reason to prefer one over the other?

I would prefer the Mastersound hats 2 to 1 over the Rock hats.

Its all about what sounds best to you. Seriously.
And also what context you'll be using them in.
I'm personally not into super heavy hats or sound-edge-type wavy bottom hats.
I would probably first select the lightest two of remaining 3 cymbals and put the heaviest of those on the bottom.

ANY A.Zildjian is a good cymbal.
Will A Mastersounds work for you?
That a question only you can answer.
If you buy them, you are not buying cheap cymbals, though.
