Snare is not only cool being a 12/6 but the fact it is COB is a little rare. Most are wood that I have seen. The color is one I have not seen before. The rest of the set is common.

yes , i was referring to the snare really, not so much the rest.

Slingerland 2 to 1 snares were a short lived version of the Frank Wolf drums of the 40's- 50's. COB ones seem to come up on ebay a few times a year. At one time I had quite a few of the Wolf 2 to 1 drums. I'll try to post some pics from home.

The Frank Wolf snares sounded really good...However, I also had a Wolf snare with 10 tube lugs and it sounded almost exactly like the 2 to 1.
Very warm and articulate.
