I think the fabrication and creativity are off the charts cool. I had a brief look at his facebook page. The kit is not for me but I respect the skills that went into the build.

I agree not something for the traditional country, jazz or blues gig I'm sure but on an alt rock gig it would be right at home.

It'd be a perfect kit for Steve Moore (aka The Mad Drummer) - you've seen the youtube videos usually something along the lines of "This drummer is at the wrong gig"

Ignoring the powder coat which I don't care for, the rack concept attached to the floor tom legs is a great idea. I would totally use that in chrome.
