So this was Mark’s idea. Might be fun. And it might lead to some PMs being sent if something peaks interest. This is your chance to talk about things that you’d like to get rid of, and things that might be sitting around that you’re just not using anymore. Maybe you thought of selling, or maybe you listed at some point and it went unsold. Let’s keep it to drums, cymbals, and hardware. Pics are always encouraged.

I see this as more of a discussion of stuff, instead of listing out prices and all of that. But if something does peak interest, perhaps anyone can reach out to discuss details further. What do you think?

So at the moment I have two kits that come to mind because I'm moving (not sure where just yet) and just have too many kits and too few gigs.

22/12/14 blue acrylic Fibes kit. DCP had them and tried to sell them for me on consignment..I think it got down to $899 w/cases and ...no bites. Going to try CL and $549...I'm afraid/Lazy to ship them..got them off FB very cheap...I was afraid of leaving the Fibes fold until I found a very tired Fiberglass kit for short $.

Then I have a Walberg and Auge kit in Black Oyster Pearl...20/12/13/16 ...the 20 has single tension tuners....the 12 did too but I added single hole lugs...the 20/12 are two great sounding super lite tubs. The 13 was on Ebay and has gretsch lugs. I found a black 16 floor tom and have been wanting it rewrapped. I also have a Sonor Force that JR Frondelli rounded the edges and rewrapped. It sounds great with the other drums but because it was black lacquer the white in the BOP looks grey. On the vintage forum we talked about this being with maybe $500. At the moment my drums are in storage in two places and I'm not sure if this kit is all in one place (the Fibes is).

Couple of things I’m on the fence about...but considering parting with.
K Sweet 19” crash
Avedis Orchestral med thin 20”
DW Collectors (new) 24x14 in white glass.
Ludwig 70s 3 ply orphans in various original finishes. 24, 13, 14, 16, 18.

My thing is...I like big drums, but I don’t really have much of a chance to play them out. So I’m possibly considering something modern and smaller for an easy setup.

I have a Premier Mark 1 APK kit from the mid 80s that needs some love. I bought it cheap from someone's basement and intended to clean it up to use for practice and lessons but haven't gotten to it yet. I even thought about stripping and selling the hardware and lugs and using the shells for various experiments but it remains stacked in the corner next to my snare drum collection.

I have a Paiste Signature 12" splash I've had on the local Craigslist looking to sell or trade with no bites. Kind of surprising as it's not like Paiste Signatures are cheap junk. It is a nice cymbal but it is just not the sound I'm looking for right now. It seems more like a crash than a splash.

I really don't want to ship it as the cost probably isn't worth it and I'd rather have someone put their eyes on it before making a trade or purchase cause I don't want to mess with a potential return.

I've got some brand new drum heads I'd like to get rid of, or even trade for similar heads in different sizes. I have 2, 18" Remo coated vintage Emps, and 1 Ambassador, and a 24" Remo ebony PS3 if anyone would be willing to trade for a 22" PS3, and 13, or 16 vintage Emps or Ambassadors. Otherwise $30.00 plus shipping for all three 18" heads and $25.00 for the PS3 plus shipping to lower 48. Again all these heads are brand new.

I have a TRS piccolo snare for sale with zero bites on it. It’s a high end, custom snare in dead mint condition. I was asking $400 for it. I don’t know if I’m asking too much or if people just don’t want piccolo snares. I’m open to negotiate. I’m selling it because I have two piccolos already.

I've learned that I don't like to collect drums that I don't get to play, so I've been trying to move a few drums of mine to get the funds together for a set of cymbals I've been wanting to get from a collector. Currently have:

1952 Slingerland Radio King WMP kit - I'd like to get somewhere around $1400 for it, but am open to negotiations
1960 Rogers 14" floor tom - Had it at $900, but I'll take $800 to break even with it
Yamaha Stage Customs kit with a full set of hardware $550
Set of Zildjian Rock Series cymbals - 22" Medium Ride ($140), 18"($120) and 16" ($100) Rock Crashes - $350 for whole lot

I have two kits currently on ebay and reverb. I'm moving at the end of the month and would like to make a deal. One is a 1968 Ludwig Citrus 12/12/14/20, 3995, and the other is a 1968 Psych red 12/13/16/22, 2995. Both kits are gorgeous with all the colors, barely any fading. I have a Ludwig 1964 Silver sparkle 13/16/22 Super Classic with the matching 5 x 14 snare. 2200. Sweet kit !!!

18” Slingerland floor tom rewrapped in bluish Marine Pearl from Precision (slight gap from shrinkage). Excellent chrome. Just too big for me to gig with....and have since sold that set. Orphan. Pm me if interested.

I have the worst cymbal in the world I want to get rid of. A Wuhan 19" Med Crash. Just terrible. I might have to pay you to take it. But like saying goes, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

I have 2 Slingerland projects - one is an Avante kit in Black Sparkle with some issues on the bass drum, and the other is a set I rescued from a friend, 12/13/16/22 that the interiors were painted black and the wrap stripped off. I think it's a 60's kit because it has the push button floor tom leg mounts.

I have a Dream 18" crash that i think might be a contender for loudest crash ever in the world. Sounds really good though, i just don't have enough control to play it.
Also some 14" New Beats i never use.

I have 2 items that I have listed a few times, but little interest. A great sounding, cool looking powder coated 60s Supra, and a Paiste pre serial 20" 602. Both $ 175. Both are fine instruments, but.....
