Too cool! One of our great authors - fiction and essays. I don't know what Harewood looked like. If that's him, he's a lefty. I do what Al Harewood sounds like, though: GREAT.

JDA will probably know this. Rondrums would, too, but I ain't seen him here in many a day.

I heard this on local jazz radio and the drummer reminded me of Blakey because he was so crisp and driving. Turns out to be Al Harewood on a classic Grant Green album "Grantstand" on Blue Note.
