This is THE definitive Hey Jide cover... Been one of my favorite recordings of all times for a while now. Wilson kills that mic capsule while the band cooks some nasty swamp soul. That's how ot's done, kids....
Nicely done, but hearing it played live when the band would leave the stage and go out into the audience was amazing. The ultimate surround sound!

Nice arrangement and horn section. Sometimes I wish I still played trumpet.(besides being a lot easier to load in and out! : )

Maybe take up the cornet or jazz flute! Makes it even easier.
I mean, in theory being the singer in a band looks like it’d be the easiest from a loading in/out perspective, but sometimes ego can be a heavy thing.
