Hey guys, not much over on this part of the boards much, but just wanted to get some feedback as to the newer Zildjian Hybrid cymbals.

I really do want Constantinoples, but I can't spend that money... And I've played a 21' Hybrid on the road for 3mths and loved it.

I want the Constantinoples, but I need to be convinced to part with that much more cash. I'm only starting to become discerning when it comes to cymbals.

The Hybrids are heavier, brighter, and cleaner with a stronger bell (killer bell actually). You can get slightly different stick tones out of the lathed and unlathed areas. K Cons are darker, trashier, and the seemingly more random hammering makes them more individual; you have to learn them a bit, in terms of what sound comes from where on the cymbal.

In playing both, the only deficiencies I can find in the Hybrids are that they are brighter than my tastes and less complex. But when comparing them to A's or Sabian HHx, they are awesome.

Any other thoughts guys/gals?
