I just read a biography about ABBA, and a picture of Björn playing at a private party for one of the staff shows the drummer's cymbals with large Paiste logos, like Rude series. But the cymbals don't seem to be Rude's.
This would have been in the 80's.
Of course I forgot to take a picture before I returned the book but I'll try to get hold of it asap to show what I mean, but some of your might recognize what I'm talking about...

The Paiste Giant Beat series is also known as "white labels", but they don't seem to have big logo's.

Might be a 900 series?

I remember how many weird uses I saw for Rude cymbals, even jazz drummers played them. They are actually quite versatile if you play them lightly.

Original rudes from the early 80s didn't even say Paiste on them....just RUDE in big white ink at the top and a model designation at 3 o clock

Colorsounds (Colorsound 5, 1983-86) had white logos. If the photograph was black and white you wouldn´t notice they were a different color...
