I just got these from a friend. He found them locally for $30. I gave him a lot more than that.

They sound absolutely amazing.

Usually the asking price on those is off in the stratosphere. I’ve seen them with the pre-1950 Leedy badge as well as the post-1950 Leedy & Ludwig badge. Do yours have any badging?

No badges on them. I’ve seen them sell for $500 up to thousands.

Those are top of the line late 50’s early 60’s timbales. I have the same model but those are made when Slingerland owned Leedy. The only difference I can see is the early 50’s model when they were made by Leedy actually had a Leedy badge on the drums. I’m not sure the year Slingerland took over Leedy but they continued the Leedy line and the Humberto Morales timbales but without the Leedy badge since they were now made by Slingerland. You got the best timbales!
