Saw this kit locally. Don’t know quite enough about Slingerland to know exactly what to look for. But, the tom posts look very low end to me, but the hoops on the toms look to be correct. Bass drum hoops look low end as well being metal and all.
Just wondering what you guys think.

Towards the end Slingerland did produce sets like that with the Pearl style mounts. The Spirit line was like that if I recall correctly. So they could have well been made in Niles but they might not quite be typical Slingerland drums. They were a cheaper line somewhat akin to the Ludwig Rockers. Probably not bad drums (as long as the shells are wood and not cardboard...yes, that happened) at the right price.

On first blush, it appears to be an import Slingerland built just before their closure.

Those look like later Spirits. I have an early Slingerland Spirit kit with 3 ply shells that sounds amazing
