69 Ludwig Red Sparkle Symphonic Snare

January 23 1969 Ludwig 6.5x14 8 lug Red Sparkle Symphonic Snare drum. Has steel hoops, small classic lugs. P87 Classic strainer, script logo snare butt, Ludwig 18 strand script wires. Serial number is 679056. Drum is 3 ply with clear maple interior.

Mine looks similar but it’s actually a WFL and I think they just referred to it as the Classic? It’s 14 x 6.5.

Yeah it's weird because it is the Ray McKinley model in the catalogs but you see Buddy using one of and on yet Buddy had the 5.5x14.

Is the butt plate the same though? I do have the catalog but too lazy to dig it out
