I use Sabian aax stage hats,14. aax splash,8. aax stage crash,16. Zildjian avedis splash,10.Zildjian Scimitar 16 ( everyone online seems to hate this cymbal but I've been clobbering it for years at gigs and no-one has ever mentioned it). Aax ride,20.
I'm toying with adding an aax freq crash,18 into the mix at some point too. View attachment 445140

- 16" Masters Dark Crash
- 14" Twenty Masters Dark Hats

To the right:
- 22" Twenty Masters Dark Ride

Current set up with my band is

15” Istanbul Xist hihats
16” Saluda crash
20” Paiste black label 2002 crash
22” Zildjian K light ride w one rivet installed
22” UFIP Class Medium ride

every once in a while I will switch out the Paiste for an 18” Sabian Vault crash or the Xist hats for a pair of 14” hats...heavy-ish Sabian AA top (1200g) used as a bottom and a 60s Zildjian A (900g) for the top.

I also recently picked up the Sabian Artisan Symphonic pair that were on the Amazon deals page and will try one out as a replacement for the UFIP ride once my band gets back to regular rehearsals. The UFIP is nice but I just can’t fall in love with it

I’ve also got a 20” Soultone vintage flat ride that I use on my practice kit at home that I like a lot but my band is too loud to ever use it there.

Hasnt changed much, lately Ive been setting up just the 18 20 24 combo with the 15" hats in the studio, and just use my 19 in a crash/ride position at the house on my practice kit (Radio Kings)

All these cymbals you fellas and gals are posting up are beautiful.. I've became a cymbal nut within the past few years after years of not really putting to much focus on sounds and blends and went through a few different sets but what I'm using now are sabian freq line.. 14"/16"/18"/21" along with some throw in cymbals here and there. Sold my Zildjian K's just recently and they were obviously great cymbals but I'm digging these sabians for the time being..

One day I'll get my hands on some meinl dual cymbals which is my dream set.. But till then im happy with these.
