So many cool "junk" drums in this thread... this is NOT one of them! LOL

My very first kit, a custom built, hand laid fiberglass kit with MIJ Slingerland hardware. This is it's current condition... junk! The only drum I ever restored was the snare, and it is STILL junk! LOL!

My current "beater" kit is this Slingerland light blue pearl. Don't think I've ever but them in bags. She looks pretty good and I don't treat her too badly... Also have this early Pearl set that sits at band practice.

I recently did a rattle can job on this Yamaha stage custom 90’s kit. I wanted something I could leave in our band trailer and not worry about the heat or getting thrown around etc. I was surprised that they sound very good so I’ve kept them in the trailer for a while now. They’re also extremely light and easy to load in which is a big plus at most of the places we gig. They get beat up 2-3 nights most weeks. They’re definitely junk but I’ve made a killing with them and they sound decent enough that I don’t mind playing them.

My brother in law has one of those kits. I just cleaned it up for him and put new heads on it. It sounds really good!

My beater set is some Pdps that I use for gigs. Its sounds good enough and don't have to worry if it gets a few scratches in the transport or setup.
I have some legs I need to add to the floor tom as I don't like the hanging tom.

I wouldn’t call my Stage Customs junk but they’re certainly the cheapest I paid for my current rigs…
Dan, why DO you have the Stage Custom set? You have plenty of other great sounds to choose from. And don't tell me it's so the other ones don't get dinged up, because I know you're watching every drum you have like a hawk!

Bought a used black Pearl Rhythm Traveler and muffled the snot out of them for "slilent" practice. Then, I gave them to a friend who used them once in 4 years....and then gave them back again. He has to locate a piece or two. No picture because it's mostly disassembled and the single-headed toms don't sound too good.

This is not mine--some disturbed person added a DRUM RACK to their Traveler setup. Tee hee.
