Part 3 of Remembering Charlie Watts. My guests were Jim Keltner, Vinnie Colaiuta, Pete Thomas, Anton Fig, Charley Drayton and Aaron Comess. (all the guys I wanted weren't available) ;)

As an added bonus, I asked Jim about Ringo's cymbals toward the end... I hope you enjoy it.

John... what you have created is simply amazing.. All of it..

It's so much information and enjoyment to literally a fly on the wall during these conversations you have recorded.

I genuinely always come away having laughed, learned and with a head shake in disbelief of the content.

When I started 45 years ago something like this was completely inconceivable.

Thank you!!!!

What Drummerfriend said!

The idea of being able to watch/listen to Vinnie and Jim Keltner, among others, talk about their love of Charlie, The Stones and music in general is amazing. I come away from every single episode with some nugget that'll make me a better musician, as well as always putting a smile on my face.

Thank you John.

Ditto what Drummerfriend said!

Thanks John, gabo
Thank you all so much! I really appreciate it. Knowing that you guys and other people enjoy them, gives me great satisfaction.

There are so many great drummers, heroes of all of ours, and some less well-known, who need to be recognized and documented, so that 20 or 30 or 100 years from now, people will remember them or know who they are. So I'm nowhere near done!

Thanks again, guys. Please tell your friends to watch and subscribe.

What I think watching these... is these drummers express themselves so often ...the majority of the time.. with Notes..
That when it gets to expressing...thru the English language..

That was a great variety of guests you had on, John. I loved when Vinnie reiterated what Jim K. said about playing with other musicians as opposed to just playing by yourself ....... interesting, that Charlie rarely if ever played a roll ; very much like Ringo..... for some reason, I always associate rolls in much of jazz music which influenced Charlie. Thanks also for asking about Ringo's cymbals. Looking forward to your next show, John.

Keltner has a way with words, just like his own drumming style and approach he gets to the heart of the matter .

Richards was the noun ,Watts the verb . You need both for a complete sentence .

Once again you've brought together the right people at the right time who asked and answered all the right questions . So thanks alot John !!
