The 22" Alchemy flats were something pretty unique if you can find one of those. I still kick myself for not grabbing one when it showed up in the used bin at my local shop.

agreed...the alchemy stuff in general was grossly underrated and overlooked...2 of my fave pies are alchemy!!
the right one of those flats (i have one and 'lent' it to someone!) are unbelievable...but even the ¿eh? ones were really good :)

Hello,

I have an as new Traditional with new label bought from cymbal house. Played once. Identical to this one from maxwell. I think it’s probably from the same batch.

So sorry to only see this now.

This old post got revived… that explains why I was getting several offers in PM for flat rides, the last few days…

I’ve found 3 beautiful flats (of course the search never ends…)
- an agop 22 jazz ride (amazing, super dark)
- an agop 18 sig. probably what I was looking for in the first place. Very quiet, dry but musical… beautiful instrument!
- and @jpvellotti , also a trad 20” flat, same as the one you posted. Mine is super thin, I believe in the 1700s as well. It’s an amazing cymbal, but I’ve took it out in wrong places at times, where it would get lost too easily. I found that this one ride i can use in a small living room with a super light touch. Fun instrument, tough!

@tradrad i saw you sultan, it’s beautiful!

@drumphils i can’t believe you still have that 18” turk. It seemed to be a beautiful pie!

Howdy, do you still have this for sale? Of course if @Ced is satisified with what they got!

Scratch that, Ced's got first dibs!

Sounds like you're all set, but just in case, I have an Istanbul Agop 20" Turk flat, ca. 1750 grams IIRC, that I'd consider parting with.

I have a rare bird available, but it's pre-split. I've got a 22" Danny Gotlieb signature Istanbul flat. I've found info online about a 20" model, but even the presplit Instanbul Facebook group couldn't give me any info. One cat said he checked his catalogs and couldn't find anything about a 22" Gotlieb model.
