Anyone know if this stand accommodates smaller cymbal hole sizes like on old K's, A's, etc.

My first thought is you meant "classic" as in vintage stands in which case the answer would be "yes" but then it dawned on me that you probably mean the modern stuff with the 8mm post....so no. You need to find stands with a 6mm post...something of a rarity in today's "bigger/thicker/heavier is better" era of hardware design.


The posts on the original USA made Ludwig (and other) cymbal stands were 1/4" so they should work fine on smaller hole cymbals as long as the sleeve you use isn't too fat.

yes, I'm referring to the new line...oh well. I've some old flat base stands and a few Tama red labels and they're great.
