I would like to offer this wonderful snare drum for sale. Some flaking and nicks on the outer shell as seen in the photos.
The bearing edges are good and everything is working as it should.
Serial number is 637391 and the stamp inside the shell looks like Sept 1968.
Asking $350 plus shipping from Canada.

Is there a day or just the month on the stamp?

Did Ludwig use COB or NOB or just chrome hardware on these. Is everything original? Looks like it.

Here are some updates:

1) It looks like the date stamped is SEPT 9 1968
2) Everything is original except the snare wires and snare cord
3) Hoops are NOS
4) The interior ply is maple and the outer ply is mahogany

Maple interior makes this REALLY nice. I have a late 50's mahogany for my Levon Helm interpretation/fake.

These are good drums. Someone will be happy
