These are relatively close to me. $1,000 for bass, tom, and floor tom (Asba Caroline not included, or any other stands or anything else). Bass hoops are obviously replacements. What do you think? Worth checking out?

Yes! One of the ones I shoulda never let go. I really blew it. Just had too many sets, and made the wrong choices. And, in a great color. Light, resonant, just really good drums. A gigging weapon.....IMG_0545.jpg

Yes good price, I bought a 12 and 20 for $450 probably 10 years ago, never found a 14 to match (one did come up on ebay once, my last bid was $550 and still didn't get it)

I think I love blue OP better than black OP. I'd for sure go check them out. The bass hoops look wrong, though - right? I didn't think Ludwig did metal hoops.......

No metal bass drum hoops in the 60's. As you all know, blue oyster is my favorite!

I didn’t check them out yet. It’s an almost 2-hour drive for me. Maybe next week sometime.

Very cool drums and the color looks like it hasn't faded too much.

I would consider $1,000 to be "full market price" for these and give the seller an offer of $850 or something in that range (considering the distance you need to drive). Selling these on e-Bay and incurring shipping costs would be a hassle - you represent an easy sale.

All of that is predicated on the drums being in decent shape with no additional holes, original interior paint and (maybe) date stamps. New hoops can be bought but finding inlays that match won't be easy.
