Can't believe they are still in stock and being sold at dealers after 5 years of being officially discontinued. I've heard rumours that they are still secretly being made at the Ludwig plant! Any caveats? I'm eyeing on a Centennial Zep set in silver sparkle, but may not really pull the trigger.

I believe Guitar Center/Musicians Friend should be the only dealer still selling either of those. They bought a huge number of Signets, and I assume they still just have them in stock. Centennials are made in Taiwan, and last I knew, Guitar Center was still buying them and Ludwig was still ordering them long after they were technically discontinued.

I think so. Dealers in mainland China are no longer carrying Centennials, but they still had Signets by the end of '17 or 18, I can't remember.

GC and MF still stock and sell Centennials, and I still see sales on them occasionally.
