Had a wicked wonky egg shaped Sonor Phonic floor tom out at least 1/4 inch we made it right with lug screw to lug screw/wire truss method. Played and tuned perfectly. Over time it actually brought the thing back to round, almost.

Would love to know more details on how you did that.

I have 2 classic fit ambassadors on the way. If that solves it without having to take drastic measures, that would be great.
