Hey everyone - I'm admittedly stumped with getting some firm information on this Ludwig snare. Monroe badge and it's a 10 lugger. My best guess was classic maple, but I've only seen classics in 8 lugs. Definitely not any older than late 80s, probably not much newer than 2000. I've searched through whatever catalogs I can find and still haven't gotten to a concrete conclusion.

Any help?

Thank you for reading the fine print that I whiffed on. The lug thing was throwing me off. Thanks for the info!

That catalog is a 1/16, note the last page. It's showing a newer badge than your drum.

When did they move to Monroe and when did they change the badge?

I own a Monroe badge 10 lug that looks identical to that drum from the outside. It is hard to tell, but that might be the earlier 9 ply Classic Maple shell, especially based on the time line you've given.
