Ludwig Standard (Vintage) in Downbeat Configuration 20/14/12

14x14 is a tough size to get. I bought a Standard floor that size a few months back on ebay that someone had stripped the wrap off of and left just rough bare mahogany. Even with that I had to pay too much to bring the thing home.

Just FYI, Ludwig called the Standards in the 12 14 20 configuration the Standard S-300 outfit... not Downbeat.

Hard to beat Lemon Strata in Downbeat sizes...I speak from personal experience. Although that set is also at a Downbeat sort of price which kind of defeats the point of buying a Standard instead, unless you're specifically after a strata or astro wrap

Thanks, that's Lemon Strata. My other one is Gold Strata. I lucked into "Downbeat" sizes on both sets and added matching 16x16s. Time was when Standard sets sold for dirt cheap but those days seem to have passed.
