Lyon and Healy New Departure

I picked up this awesome Lyon and Healy New Departure a couple weeks ago. This one will probably sit on a shelf. The tuning mechanisms are really fragile.

Check out the little hand holding a drumstick on the strainer.

It’s right at about 16, but modern heads won’t fit.

I’m not 100% sure of the shell, but I would guess brass
