I picked up a used Mapex Armory Dillinger snare recently. I found when changing the heads that the butt plate is stripped on one side. It's the outside screws, not the inside mounting screw. I've been trying to find that part but have come up blank. Anyone have any ideas where to get it? I'd rather stick to the original so I don't have to drill more holes in the shell. BTW, it's not a bad drum, especially for how much I paid for it.

I needed springs for my Falcon double pedal last year. No one seemed to carry Mapex springs, and I checked everywhere. Finally, someone here on the forum told me to email Mapex through their site. I did, even though I didn't expect to hear anything. Surprisingly they got back to me within a week and sent two free springs in the mail.

I dunno if they'll do that for a butt plate, but it's worth a shot.

Or you can email Vic at Sweetwater.
