Some of you probably already know my friend from high school Mike Morgan, has been around on the drum circuit for quite awhile, the real deal artisan. We shared a drum seat at Rush Henrietta Jazz Band circa 74-75 we had way too much fun! Killer drummer too!
Ck out his amazing work

I have huge respect for artists who work freehand; just amazing how focused they can stay, for so long. They turn their brain off, & get in the 'zone'. This guy's been there before........marko

Man, that's nice work.
I gotta' believe that engravers love those shells without a bead in them, let's them take it to another level.

I worked at King Musical Instruments for years and I remember the department where all the hand engraver worked. They were true artists. The engraving they would put on the horns of Harry James and Dizzy Gillespie were truly amazing. All done freehand. I still remember watching them after all these years.
