100% rejected by record companies everywhere when they shopped the demos.
People generally have
a strong feeling one way
or the other
about this record.
What do you think of it?

It’s amazing. One of the top selling albums of all time.
I’ll never forget meandering down the wide hallway towards his office, the walls were lined with Gold and Platinum Bat out of Hell albums from different countries all over the world. There must of been 30 of them. My friend was his nanny we used to party at his house all the time , he lived a just few houses down from me. He was larger than Life. I asked him if he needed a drummer I’d play for free lol. Ah the good old days of youth

I always liked him. Especially w Paradise by the dashboard light. Especially enjoyed the Phil Rizutto part. The song told a story in just a few entertaining minutes.

I'm from Dallas -- and in my early 20s, I was playing the rock clubs in town.
I had heard this guy was from Dallas, but none of us in the local rock clubs had ever heard of him.
Then I found out he was born in Dallas and his family moved away while he was still a boy.
He found a niche and made the best of it.................

I think it is one of the best lps ever made, title track and cover just smoke, and this was out when disco was big. The Who, who's next, Pink Floyd..the Wall and this are albums, among others....you just dont forget.
